Valter Zilocchi 

 

Valter Zilocchi was born into a family of builders and was already on construction sites working for his father at 12 years old. Valter completed his first certification in Building Surveying in Italy at the age of 19 years and later went on to complete a degree in Building construction. Today, he boasts of over 35 years active working experience in the building and construction industry. 

 

Valter began his post qualification working experience with Edilcase Construction (Italy) in 1982, moved to Zico Construction (Italy) in 1990, and then to Archimede Construction (Italy) in 1992. In the year 2000, Valter took over the family real estate company Acquelaria (Italy) Limited and increased full time staff strength from 25 to 300 within his first year. 

 

Valter has a passion for new and innovative construction methods and equipment training. In 1998, he incorporated LB (Italy) Limited, a company that specialises in equipment training and a sister company to LB (Ghana) Limited. He is also part of the Terraefuoco team Ghana, which devotes tremendous amount of resources to perfecting the use of lightweight concrete panels in the construction of affordable homes. 

 

Valter relocated to Ghana in 2014 and worked briefly as the GM of Micheletti Construction. He also collaborated with Trasacco Ghana in the development of the Green Eco-blocks. With expert skills in the use of all site construction equipments, Valter directs our site operations by hands-on examples.
